#1  Start raiding the fucking EMPLOYERS of these illegal aliens.
I want to hear: ICE raid at office park, 32 arrested with perp walks in suits and ties.
Do that and the illegal alien problem solves itself. Then traitorous shitheads are terrified to employ illegal aliens, that's it.

#2  The Trump Effect: Remittances to Mexico Continue Plunging as ICE Raids Soar Across U.S.

The plummet in remittances to Mexico comes before Trump’s one percent remittance tax takes effect in January of next year. Initially, the tax was supposed to be set at 3.5 percent, but was quickly slashed by Senate Republicans to just one percent with huge carveouts.

One of those carveouts, where foreign nationals seeking to send remittances to their home countries will be spared from the tax if they have a relationship with the bank they are wiring the money through, will protect much of Western Union’s grip on the remittance market.

More effective to break the money changers.

#3  Typically, the people being grabbed at Home Depot and similar places are not employees of the store, but are day laborers who congregate there in hopes of picking up some off-the-books work. Who needs forms when there is work to be done!

Food processing plants are another story. There you have payrolls and taxes and E-Verify which, if actually used, can verify identity and immigration status.

In many cases, the documents show that 50-60 people live at the same address.

HR doesn't figure that out for some reason, though.

More Than 70 Al-Shabab Fighters Killed in Battle With AU, Somali Forces
When last we heard about this battle, on Tuesday, it was only 50. Also, the name of the town was spelt Bariire
[Garowe] Over 70 al-Shabaab
... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...
fighters were killed Sunday, officials said, confirming the latest confrontation between the African Union
...a union consisting of 53 African states, most run by dictators of one flavor or another. The only all-African state not in the AU is Morocco. Established in 2002, the AU is the successor to the Organisation of African Unity (OAU), which was even less successful...
Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) and the Khawarij fighters, who are trying to overthrow the government.

The confrontation, first reported on Friday in Barire town, left many fighters dead as AUSSOM forces from the Ugandan People's Defence Forces (UPDF) engaged the forces of Evil in ground combat, lasting for several hours, the African Union said.

The African Union contingent and their Somali NationalArmy (SNA) did not suffer immense losses as proclaimed by the holy warriors, who first issued a statement claiming to have inflicted significant casualties.

"AUSSOM wishes to clarify that its forces, in coordination with the Somali National Armed Forces (SNAF), initiated a major offensive to recapture Bariire town on Aug. 1," the AU mission said, responding to claims made by al-Shabaab regarding the destruction of AU-owned armored personnel carriers and the retreat of AUSSOM troops following intense fighting in Bariire.

"The joint military operation has resulted in substantial losses for the terrorist group, with over 50 al-Shabaab forces of Evil killed and many others sustaining serious injuries," AUSSOM said.

The state media confirmed that the confrontation left two Somali National Army soldiers dead, adding that the operation was dubbed "Silent Storm". At least 12 soldiers were critically injured and are receiving advanced treatment in AUSSOM facilities.

The agriculturally rich Bariire town, which lies about 60 km southwest of Mogadishu, is one of the strategic areas located in the Lower Shabelle region along the Shabelle River. The fighting continued for the better part of Monday.

"AUSSOM and SNAF troops are determined to recapture Bariire town and other territories still under al-Shabaab control to ensure lasting peace and security for the people of Somalia," said El Hadji Ibrahima Boly Diene, special representative of the AU Commission Chairperson for Somalia and head of AUSSOM.

The federal troops and those from the African Union are fighting to recapture several towns, which have since been retaken by the al-Shabaab fighters. Most recently, Moqokori, Adan Yabaal, and Mahas towns were recaptured by the holy warriors.

At least 5 Al-Shabaab fighters killed in Somalia offensive

[Garowe] At least 5 Al-Shabaab fighters have been killed in Somalia just days after security forces killed 70 fighters in the country, in yet another indication of a strong spirit in the fight against the group, which has been the source of instability in the Horn of Africa nation.

According to reports, the five militants were killed at Omar Beere within the notorious Lower Shabelle, with security teams vowing to make more strides in the fight against the group, which controls most parts of rural central and southern regions.

During the operation, security teams also destroyed hideouts while gaining control of strategic areas within the vicinity. The al-Shabaab fighters have lately been suffering setbacks in central and southern regions within the Horn of Africa nation.

Somalia's new strategy to defeat Al-Shabaab - major crackdown uncovers 250 financial Shaboob-linked cases
[Garowe] For almost two decades, al-Shabaab
... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...
fighters have imposed punitive taxation measures in central and southern regions, with the group’s financial fortunes expanding over time even as the government tries to seal loopholes used by the bad boys.

Through annual taxation of about $120 million, the al-Shabaab fighters have managed to purchase sophisticated weapons besides ensuring timely payments of the fighters, and smooth operations without major interruption.

As a result, the government has come up with strict rules on financial regulations, besides fighting the gunnies through military combats and a religious approach, which entails seminars to discuss radicalization.

Among others, the government has established a robust legal and institutional framework. Central to these reforms is the revision of the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) Act 2016, which was updated to incorporate previously missing requirements and ensure alignment with FATF Recommendations.

The revised Act strengthens the authority of the Financial Reporting Centre (FRC), financial institutions, and law enforcement agencies to detect, report, and prosecute money laundering and terrorist financing offenses, state media highlights.

The Federal Government of Somalia has established a coordinated national response to terrorist financing through the National Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Committee (NAMLC). As the primary AML/CFT policy body, NAMLC plays a central role in protecting Somalia’s financial system from exploitation by terrorist groups, particularly al-Shabaab.

In fulfilling its mandate, NAMLC has issued several public directives urging citizens and financial institutions to avoid providing financial or material support to terrorist entities and to report suspicious transactions to the Financial Reporting Centre (FRC).

There have been deliberate efforts to also support financial operations to dismantle al-Shabaab's financial infrastructure by targeting income sources, fund movement, and storage mechanisms.

Through coordinated efforts by the Financial Reporting Centre (FRC), the Central Bank of Somalia, financial institutions, and telecom providers, authorities launched a nationwide campaign to disable financial channels exploited by the group. This included:

Further, in May 2024, Somalia secured its first-ever terrorist financing convictions, marking a historic milestone in the transition from financial intelligence to successful prosecution. These rulings established a critical legal precedent and demonstrated the growing maturity of Somalia’s AML/CFT regime.

The convictions were the result of close coordination between the Financial Reporting Centre (FRC), National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), the judiciary, and the Office of the Attorney General (OAG), transforming complex financial intelligence into legally admissible evidence.

The Federal Government of Somalia has adopted a risk-based approach as a foundational principle in its efforts to combat money laundering (ML) and terrorist financing (TF). This approach enables the prioritization of resources, policy decisions, and enforcement actions in proportion to the identified risks, ensuring a more targeted and effective national AML/CFT response.

Somalia has made substantial progress in disrupting terrorist financing through legislative reforms, institutional strengthening, and coordinated national and international efforts. Key achievements—such as the first terrorist financing convictions, targeted sanctions, and the closure of thousands of illicit accounts—reflect a proactive and strategic approach to financial disruption.

The implementation of a risk-based framework, enforcement of national ID requirements, and alignment with global AML/CFT standards have significantly enhanced financial transparency and control. Continued investment in technology, regulation of virtual assets, and cross-sector collaboration will be vital to sustaining momentum.

Somalia’s Defence Ministry hails major crackdown on Al-Shabaab financing network

[ShabelleMedia] Somalia’s Ministry of Defence on Wednesday praised the Office of the Attorney General for uncovering more than 250 cases linked to money laundering and direct financing of the bad boy group al-Shabaab
... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
, in what officials described as a significant blow to the group’s financial infrastructure.

In a statement, the ministry said the investigation led to the auditing of over 3,500 bank accounts and the freezing of one million US dollars in suspected terror funds. It called the effort "a major strategic victory" in the government’s ongoing campaign to dismantle al-Shabaab’s military, economic, and ideological capabilities.

"This success is part of a comprehensive war, not just fought on the battlefield, but across financial and ideological fronts," the ministry said, commending all government institutions for their active role in supporting the national army’s efforts to secure the country and protect civilians.

The crackdown, officials said, illustrates how the federal government is increasingly targeting the group’s economic lifelines in tandem with military operations.

Gunmen Abduct 60 in Northern Nigeria, Kill Villagers in Overnight Raids
[USNEWS] Gunmen kidnapped at least 45 women and kiddies in an overnight raid on five villages in northwest Nigeria, witnesses said, in the second mass kidnapping in the area within days.

The attackers returned to Sabongarin Damri on Monday and raided nearby villages including Sade, Tungar Tsalle, Tungar Sodangi and Tungar Musa Dogo, in an assault that lasted until dawn, Shehu Musa, the traditional head of Damri, told Rooters by phone late on Tuesday.

The incident followed a separate mass abduction in Sabongarin Damri, in Zamfara state, on Saturday in which 70 people were taken.

"The attackers invaded the communities and kidnapped no fewer than 45 people from the five neighbouring villages, which are less than half a kilometre apart," Musa said.

Armed groups, often referred to locally as "bandidos", have killed hundreds and kidnapped thousands across Nigeria's northwest in recent years. They typically hold captives for extended periods, demanding ransoms for their release.

Security forces engaged the assailants during Monday's attack, killing three, but were unable to stop the bandidos from fleeing with hostages and rustling cattle. Civilian casualties were reported, though the number of fatalities was unconfirmed.

"They mostly kidnapped women and kiddies after killing some of our people," said Hassan Dauda, a resident of Tungar Tsalle. "As I'm speaking to you now, some residents have started fleeing their community due to fear."

Security sources revealed that the suspect, identified as Ahmadu Mohammed Dogo, was apprehended at Muna Garage around 11:50 a.m. on Monday, following credible human intelligence.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Dogo was intercepted while allegedly attempting to transport Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) concealed in Fearless energy drink plastic bottles and packed in 12 sacks.

During interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed that the fuel was destined for Gamboru-Ngala, a border town in Borno believed to serve as a key logistics route for snuffies operating along the fringes of the Lake Chad Basin.

Items recovered from him included the PMS-filled bottles, charms, suspected hard drugs, rings, syringes, and several personal effects.

Community leader begs Tinubu to declare state of emergency in Plateau over repeated attacks - Daily Post Nigeria
[DAILYPOST.NG] A community leader in Bokkos local government area of Plateau State, Da Yohana Margif, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to urgently declare a State of Emergency in the state to stop the incessant killings and bloodshed by Fulani
... a peculiarly brutal tribe of Moslem herdsmen infesting Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and probably other places that are light on law and order and heavy on tribal identity...
militia gangs.

Da Margif, the Waziri Mushere in Bokkos LGA, who made the passionate appeal to the president during a presser in Abuja on Tuesday, said the call has become imperative, following repeated violence perpetrated by the Fulani marauders who have continued to lay siege to several communities, killing the natives, sacking them from their homes and taking over their lands.

Margif, a former Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 governorship elections in the state, said with the way the Fulani militias have continued to unleash violence on the people of Bokkos, it will be a matter of time before they will all be exterminated.

While arguing the need for Tinubu to declare a State of Emergency in Plateau, Margif said it is the only way to stop the ongoing bloodbath and land-grabbing by the armed murderous Moslems who have already taken over control of seven villages in Bokkos.

''The savage killings and destruction of homes continue even as of today, Tuesday, August 5th, 2025,'' the Waziri said while addressing the presser.

''Seven communities have been captured, and many lives have been lost. No one knows what will happen next. The people cannot sleep and are helpless.

''Innocent villagers have been slaughtered, their homes burnt, and their ancestral lands forcefully taken over. Displaced families now roam as refugees in their fatherland.

''I call on President Bola Tinubu to declare a State of Emergency in Plateau State before we are all gone.

''The primary duty of any government is to protect lives and property. If it fails to do that, then it has no business being in existence,'' Margif lamented.

He, however, warned that unless the federal government intervenes immediately, more blood will flow, and entire communities in the state will go into extinction.

The development was disclosed in a post on Wednesday by security analyst and counterinsurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, via X.

According to the report, the ambush took place on Tuesday evening and led to the recovery of several bicycles and logistics items used by the terrorists.

In what appeared to be a retaliatory attack, suspected murderous Moslems later stormed the Dar El-Jamal resettled village around 7:30 p.m. the same day, shooting sporadically.

20 killed as humanitarian aid truck overturns in Gaza
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[Regnum] As a result of a truck carrying humanitarian aid overturning into a crowd in the Gaza Strip, 20 people were killed. This was reported on Wednesday, August 6, by the press service of the Palestinian enclave authorities.

"Twenty people were killed and dozens injured on Wednesday night while trying to receive humanitarian aid amid the catastrophic situation in Gaza and the occupation-initiated chaos after a food truck overturned on them," the statement said.

According to the Gaza Strip authorities, the Israeli army deliberately sent a truck to the humanitarian aid distribution site along unsafe and impassable roads that had previously been bombed.

On July 27, Al Arabiya reported that Israel had promised not to strike humanitarian aid distribution points in the Gaza Strip. According to the channel's sources, the Israeli side made this agreement amid the worsening famine and humanitarian catastrophe in the enclave, which has outraged the entire world.

Earlier in the day, the Israeli military imposed a daily "tactical pause" in military operations in parts of the Gaza Strip from 10:00 to 20:00 Moscow time for humanitarian purposes until further notice. This will affect areas where military operations are not taking place (Al-Mawasi, Deir al-Balah and Gaza City), and was coordinated with the UN and international organizations.

On July 25, the Russian leader's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian side supports the UN Security Council resolutions on the Palestine issue, considering them the only way to resolve the conflict in the Middle East. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted in October 2024 that the UN Security Council resolution prescribes the creation of two states in the Middle East : Palestine and Israel. The head of state clarified that Russia has always proceeded from the fact that this decision must be implemented.

-controlled civil defense agency also reported on the incident.

"Twenty people were killed and dozens injured around midnight last night in a truck carrying aid overturned... while hundreds of civilians were waiting for aid," the agency’s spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal, told AFP.

The incident took place near the Nuseirat refugee camp, as the truck was driving on an unsafe road that Israel had previously bombed, added Bassal, who Israel accuses of being a Hamas terrorist.

The Israeli military said it was looking into the reports.

JORDAN AID BLOCKED
Meanwhile,
...back at the Hubba Hubba Club, Nunzio wondered: Where the hell was Chumbaloni? And where was his $600?...
Jordan said Israelis attacked a Gaza-bound aid convoy in the second such incident in days, and accused Israel of failing to act firmly to prevent assaults.

The convoy, 30 trucks of humanitarian aid, was delayed in its arrival in a violation of signed agreements, government front man Mohammad al-Momani told Rooters.

"This requires a serious Israeli intervention and no leniency in dealing with those who obstruct these convoys," Momani said.

Earlier this week, Momani had said that several aid trucks were forced to turn back to Jordan after being accosted by activists in Israel.

Right-wing activists advocate for no aid to be permitted into Gaza until terror groups there release all the hostages that were kidnapped during the Hamas-led October 7 attack. The assault, in which some 5,600 hard boyz invaded the country, also killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians.

IDF orders evacuation in Gaza City, Khan Younis

The IDF on Wednesday morning issued an evacuation warning for Paleostinians residing in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.

"As you have been warned, the IDF continues to deepen its operations westward," said the military’s Arabic-language spokesperson, Col. Avichay Adraee in a post on X, attaching a map of the area that is to be evacuated.

The area from which people are instructed to evacuate is already under prior evacuation orders. Paleostinians in Zeitoun were instructed to head for the Mawasi area on the coast of the south of Gaza, where Israel has established a "safer" zone.

A second evacuation warning was issued for Paleostinians residing in a small zone in western Khan Younis in the Strip’s south.

"The IDF is continuing its ground maneuver and is using heavy force in your area to expand the scope of the fighting," says Adraee, adding that the evacuated zone will not be included in the areas that see a daily "humanitarian pause" for the delivery of aid.

Strikes on terror targets, tunnels destroyed
[IsraelTimes] In an update about its operations in Gaza, the IDF said Tuesday morning that it had shelled dozens of terror targets in the Gaza Strip with artillery over the previous 24 hours.

In southern Gaza, the IDF said the 282nd Artillery Regiment hit over 30 targets, including buildings and apartments used by Hamas to advance attacks on troops in the area.

The 990th Reserve Artillery Regiment killed several terror operatives and hit additional buildings used by terror groups in northern Gaza, the army said.

Hamas authorities reported Monday that over 90 people were killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza over the previous 24 hours.

Also in southern Gaza, the 188th Armored Brigade destroyed a building where the IDF said it located a tunnel entrance and killed operatives who approached the forces.

Tunnels were also demolished during operations of the Givati Brigade in northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun, the IDF added.

20 said killed, dozens wounded in overturning of Gaza aid truck
[IsraelTimes] Media outlets in Gaza report that 20 people were killed and dozens injured overnight when a truck carrying goods into Gaza overturned in Deir al-Balah, in the central part of the enclave. It remains unclear whether the truck was intended for merchants or for a humanitarian organization.

According to reports by the Qatari outlet Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, the truck overturned after a crowd gathered around the vehicle, prompting it to divert onto an unsafe route, resulting in the accident.

Iran executes man convicted of giving Israel details of assassinated nuclear scientist
[IsraelTimes] Roozbeh Vadi, who worked at ‘key facility,’ accused of having leaked information about nuclear scientist who was killed in Israeli strikes during June war

Iranian authorities on Wednesday executed a man convicted of spying for Israel by passing on information about a nuclear scientist killed during the 12-day war with Israel in June, the judiciary said.

"Roozbeh Vadi... was executed following judicial proceedings and confirmation of his sentence by the Supreme Court," the judiciary’s Mizan Online website said, adding that the man had leaked information about a "nuclear scientist who was assassinated during the Zionist regime’s recent aggression."

The execution was carried out by hanging, it added.

It was not immediately clear when he was arrested or sentenced.

Mizan reported that Vadi worked at one of Iran’s "key and sensitive organizations" and that his access enabled him to pass on "classified information" after being recruited online by Israel’s Mosssd

The Israeli offensive killed senior military commanders, nuclear scientists and hundreds of others, striking both military sites and residential areas.

Israel said its sweeping assault on the country’s top military leaders, nuclear scientists, uranium enrichment sites, and ballistic missile program was necessary to prevent the Islamic Theocratic Republic from realizing its avowed plan to destroy the Jewish state.

After 12 days of fighting, at the end of which the US also hit three Iranian nuclear sites, Washington brokered a ceasefire.

Israeli authorities themselves have boasted about the deep penetration into Iran that their intelligence agencies achieved to plan for its attack, including footage purporting to show agents launching drones from within Iran.

Iran responded to the attacks by firing hundreds of missiles at Israeli cities that killed 29 people and injured over 3,000. It has faced continuing internal instability since the war ended and has launched a sweeping internal crackdown aimed at rooting out Israeli spies, dissidents, and opposition figures.

Hezbollah rejects Beirut’s call to disarm as ‘major mistake’
[IsraelTimes] Terror group says move ‘fully serves Israel’s interest’; IDF strike in Lebanon kills Hezbollah operative who it says directed terror cells in Syria to launch rockets at Golan

Hezbollah on Wednesday dismissed the Lebanese government’s announcement of plans seeking to disarm the terror group by the end of 2025, calling it a "major mistake" that harms the country’s illusory sovereignty.

In a statement, the Iran-backed organization said in its response to Tuesday’s announcement that the move was a result of US "diktats" and that it will treat the decision "as if it does not exist."

"This decision fully serves Israel’s interest," the group said.

The statement said Shiite ministers walked out of the cabinet session before the decision was reached as "an expression of the resistance’s (Hezbollah’s) rejection of this decision."

Nonetheless, Hezbollah said it remains open to a national strategic security dialogue, to ending what it called Israeli aggression against Leb

, and to working on rebuilding and restoring what the "enemy has destroyed."

On Tuesday, the Lebanese government convened to discuss the clause asserting the state’s monopoly on arms, which effectively means the disarmament of Hezbollah, as part of a proposal submitted by the United States in June. However,
alcohol has never solved anybody's problems. But then, neither has milk...
at the end of the session, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced that the discussion on the matter was postponed until a cabinet discussion on Thursday.

A US-brokered ceasefire last November ended the conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, though Israel has continued to carry out strikes on what it says are Hezbollah arms depots and fighters, mostly in southern Lebanon.

The proposal made by US envoy Thomas Barrack included a roadmap to Lebanese officials to fully disarm Hezbollah, in exchange for Israel halting its strikes on Lebanon and withdrawing its troops from five points they still occupy in southern Lebanon.

That proposal included a condition that Lebanon’s government pass a cabinet decision clearly pledging to disarm Hezbollah.

With little progress on the proposals, Washington’s patience began wearing thin. It pressured Lebanon’s ministers to swiftly make the public pledge so that talks could continue.

But Lebanese officials and diplomats say such an explicit vow could spark communal tensions in Lebanon, where Hezbollah and its arsenal retain significant support among the country’s Shiite Moslem community.

Hezbollah’s chief Naim Qassem
... the Grand Vizier of the Hezbullies...
on Tuesday also rejected calls to disarm and threatened a new war with Israel if it opened a "large-scale aggression" against Lebanon.

Hours after Hezbollah issued the statement on Wednesday, the IDF carried out Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
s in southern Lebanon that it said targeted weapon depots, rocket launchers, and sites used to store construction vehicles that were used by the terror group to restore its infrastructure.

"The Hezbollah terror organization continues its attempts to restore terror infrastructure throughout Lebanon, while endangering Lebanese civilians and using them as human shields," the IDF said, adding that the presence of weapons and Hezbollah’s activity in the area "constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon."

Earlier in the day, the IDF said it killed a Hezbollah operative in an overnight dronezap in Lebanon’s northeastern Beqaa Valley.

According to the military, the operative, Hassam Qassem Gharab, was directing — from Lebanon — terror cells in Syria to launch rockets at the Golan Heights in northern Israel.

"The terrorist’s activity posed a threat to the State of Israel and its citizens," the IDF said.

Since the beginning of a ceasefire in November 2024, the IDF says it has carried out over 500 airstrikes against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, killing at least 230 operatives and destroying dozens of sites belonging to the terror group, saying they violated the terms of the truce.

#1  "This decision fully serves Israel’s interest,"

Is it possible that Israel's interest and Lebanon's interest might coincide, at least as far as stomping Hezbollah? Yeah, it is a heavy lift and assumes that Hezbollah and the government of Lebanon are two separate things.

(ISIS) attack in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province, the Asayish said on Tuesday.

"A terrorist group riding a cycle of violence targeted a vehicle belonging to our forces in the town of Abriha in Deir ez-Zor province using a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Three members of our forces sustained various injuries," the Asayish said in a statement.

’s regime in December. The jihadists are particularly active in Deir ez-Zor, where they frequently target the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and local security forces.

The Asayish asserted that "extensive combing operations" were launched in the area after the attack in search of the assailants.

"Such terrorist attacks will not deter us from pursuing anyone who dares to threaten the security of our regions," the statement added.

The Kurdish-led SDF, the de facto army of northeast Syria (Rojava), has carried out numerous operations this year to counter what they say is a resurgence in ISIS activity, targeting both their forces and civilians.

The SDF, supported by the coalition, "conducted a precise security operation in the city of Hasaka. The operation targeted a senior ISIS official responsible for the group’s General Research Division in Syria, who was involved in identifying targets for terrorist attacks," the People’s Protection Units (YPG) - the SDF’s backbone - said in a statement.

The Kurdish-led and US-backed SDF, the de facto army of Rojava, has carried out numerous operations this year to counter what they say is a resurgence in ISIS activity, targeting both their forces and civilians.

"This mission reflects the continued efforts of the Syrian Democratic Forces to pursue ISIS remnants, dismantle their operational structures, and safeguard the region from terrorist threats," the statement added.

On Wednesday, at least one Kurdish-led internal security forces (Asayish) member was injured in two separate suspected ISIS attacks in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province.
